This is functional cabinet as well a display for two indiginous art pieces the client bought back from Sao Paolo's street to Tokyo.
The Minimal furniture is at the same time the tiny white cube, which is painted like traditional Japanese Urushi (Japanese lacquer) for giving depth to the space by the reflection. It can display the two art works perfectly, and gives life by turning the light up with a remote controller.
Now a private collection as a whole.

SOUL RIDER
This bicycle with a hitch is the minimal trailer that carries the the riders most important element in his life. His dog and surfboard.
The material was recycled from trash, reformed and recombined.
It is a reminder of what is really important in his life.

Apartment Rennovation, concept & design 50m²

Flat on the 11th floor of an old apartment located along the leveled highway above the river in Azabu, Tokyo had to be rennovated.
Miura's concept was to lift up the riverside here. All dividing walls were demolished. The car traffic would usually be a negative environment, but here taken advantage as a borrowed scene to emphasis the speedy life of urban Tokyo. The pure black reflection continues the flow of the car. The phenomena goes beyond, and will make the resident float and glide in the dark night.
